Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately to obtain the required diagnostic images efficiently.
• Evaluate radiographs, differentiate between high-quality images and those needing retakes.
• Maintain detailed patient records and document imaging procedures for future reference.
• Collaborate with radiologists to discuss imaging results and further action steps.
• Adhere strictly to ethical healthcare standards and patient confidentiality laws.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation checks on imaging equipment regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience operating imaging machines, including X-rays, MRI, and CT scanners.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and protocols for various imaging procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for documenting procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if necessary.
