We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients accurately for radiographic examinations and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain all radiographic and imaging equipment safely and effectively.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy, ensuring clarity for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret imaging results.
  • Ensure the privacy and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Adhere to radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
  • Maintain patient records and document all performed procedures in a detailed manner.
  • Assist in scheduling and managing workflow to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance on imaging equipment for optimal functionality.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior radiography staff and students as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive explanations to patients and their families about procedures.

Requirements

  • At least an associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited organization.
  • Prior experience working as a Radiographer in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using radiographic equipment and computerized imaging systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
