Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor specialized in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building projects, ensuring that the project is completed within budget.

Job Responsibility

• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor for MEP projects.
• Conduct on-site visits to gather information on project progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to negotiate prices and contracts.
• Track changes to the design and adjust cost estimates accordingly.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to management.
• Monitor project costs and expenses throughout the construction process.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in MEP projects.
• UAE/MOFA attested Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of relevant software for quantity surveying and cost estimation.

• Excellent knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Understanding of contract management and procurement processes
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards in MEP construction.
