Quantity Surveyor-Landscape

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and rate build-ups for landscape works.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost variance reports.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage variations and claims in coordination with the project team.
• Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations for landscape materials and services.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and re-measurements for softscape and hardscape elements.
• Prepare and process payment applications (advance, interim, final) in line with contract terms.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor payment applications.
• Liaise with site engineers and landscape architects to ensure accurate scope execution.
• Track progress and ensure alignment with budget and schedule.
• Support the commercial team in final account preparation and close-out.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum8- 10 years of experience, should have experience in landscaping projects.
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials, construction techniques, and market rates.
