We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the civil engineering sector. Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for civil engineering projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses of projects.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project financial reports.
• Administer contracts and advise on contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with construction and project regulations.
• Measure and value the work done on-site efficiently.
• Negotiate and agree on contract variations and cost adjustments.
• Monitor and control project expenditure effectively to stay within budget.
• Conduct risk and value management and cost control processes.
• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize project performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil projects is required.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and principles.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and financial forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD and MS Project.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are crucial.
