The Quantity Surveyor has the primary responsibility for cost tracking of outages for AFS outage operations, and creation and maintenance of cost tracking models. Reporting of live costing to responsible parties, to allow for mitigation by budget owners.
Key Accountabilities
Create cost tracking models based on historical data, Purchase Orders, or within contractual obligations.
Maintain cost tracking models, archive for future analysis, and for creation of future models.
Implement and maintain SAP Project System.
Liaise with Operations and Back Office stakeholders to track actual cost versus budgeted across all outages, incorporating all costs aspects of each outage.
Review and align timesheets.
Assist Associate Manager – Costing with Purchase Order extraction and validation for planned to actual variance analysis. Forecast estimated PO for overruns allowing for mitigation and/or amendment.
Assist Associate Manager – Costing with preparation of CTM reports to be incorporated into Finance’s P&L reports reporting.
To assist Associate Manager - Costing with preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports to Senior Management and for post-season analysis for lessons learned.
Maintain archive records and consolidated reports.

Qualification
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of experience in a costing-related role.
Experience in oil & gas maintenance outages would be beneficial.
Strong Excel skills essential.
SAP experience is essential.

Must have the ability to take the initiative in identifying shortfalls and creating solutions to improve or avoid problem areas.
