The Opportunity

ADB SAFEGATE is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Quality Control Engineer to join our Dubai team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our aviation solutions meet the highest global standards. Your mission will span the entire lifecycle—from supplier quality and production to the performance of end-products in the field.

Note: This position is specifically open to UAE Nationals as part of our commitment to the Nafis program and the development of local technical leadership.

You will make an impact by…

• Supplier Quality Excellence: Reviewing specifications for external suppliers, writing Quality Data Sheets (QDS), and performing supplier audits to ensure our supply chain meets rigorous aviation standards.
• Production Quality Control: Developing control plans and test instructions for both internal and outsourced production. You will drive continuous improvement through product line audits and corrective actions.
• End-Product Integrity: Defining outgoing quality checks and performing sample testing (in-lab and off-line). You will translate field feedback and complaints into actionable product improvements.
• Root Cause Analysis: Leading cross-functional investigations to solve complex technical issues, supporting field teams with root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions in production.
• Development Support (PDP): Guiding the execution of P-FMEAs, verifying PPAP documentation, and managing quality gate checklists during the New Product Development Process.

The talent we want to inspire has…

• Must be a UAE National (Family Book holder).
• Strong bilingual fluency in English and Arabic is required. You must be able to negotiate technical matters with international suppliers and present quality reports to local stakeholders.
• Industrial Engineer degree in Electro-mechanics, Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Quality Control, industrialization, or a production environment involving electrical, electronic, and mechanical products.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal auditing.
• Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 6 Sigma, 8D, QC techniques).
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, JIRA, and Confluence.

The following skills will be an advantage:

• Professional knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and IEC standards.
• Experience in the aviation or airport industry.
