Quality Assurance System Tester

Job Description

GAC is looking for a talented Quality Assurance System Tester with experience of Test Automation Frameworks to test Rest APIs, Web/HTML, Databases (Relational & Non-Relational), XML files, etc.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing Test Automation framework from scratch, be comfortable doing manual testing, take responsibility conducting UATs with customers, be able to troubleshoot production issues, willing to mentor other QAs and adhere to industry best practices. The role also demands coordination with both external customers and internal teams. A minimum of 5 years’ Test Automation experience is required.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or equivalent
• Around 5 years of professional experience of Test Automation
• Experience on web automation testing using Selenium
• Experienced building API Test Automation Frameworks from scratch
• Experience using Postman, SOAP UI, REST Assured
• Scripting and running load tests on JMeter with complex scripting and recorded tests
• Basic knowledge on SQL queries
• Basic knowledge on API security and token-based authentication oAuth 2.0, JWT
• Experience on Agile development methodology
• Preferably ISTQB certified Software Tester
• Preferably working experience on Cucumber / SpecFlow
• Agile certification would be a plus
• Testing experience of Desktop and/or Mobile applications would be a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel
• Cultural awareness within a multi-cultural corporate environment
• Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships across IT and non-IT teams
• Proactively communicate and escalate issues that might impact quality
