Job Description

The QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) and IMS (Integrated Management Systems) Coordinator in Logistics and Relocations plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all processes adhere to the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental responsibility. This role involves the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of management systems that align with industry standards and regulations. The Coordinator serves as a key interface between the operational management and central coordination functions to maintain and promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization. They will oversee and audit processes, ensuring that the company's QHSE policies and procedures are followed consistently, and provide guidance and training to staff in understanding and applying these standards effectively. An ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment management systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions on QHSE standards and practices to staff.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the QHSE management system through KPIs.
  • Ensure all safety incidents are reported and investigated with corrective actions implemented.
  • Coordinate with various departments to integrate QHSE principles into daily operations.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis to senior management on regulatory performance.
  • Facilitate risk assessments and emergency response strategies, keeping them up-to-date.
  • Stay informed of any changes in legislation and ensure the company's compliance accordingly.
  • Provide advice and support to management on health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulators to ensure successful audits and inspections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a QHSE role within logistics or relocations.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to conduct training sessions and present to varied audiences.
  • Proficient in using management systems software and tools for analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively across different departments and with external stakeholders.
