Core Accountabilities

  • Create and maintain the Companys Quality Standards; develop, implement and maintain the Companys quality documentation, such as quality procedures, control plan, inspection plans and product QC work instructions.
  • Responsible for developing incoming inspection plan for incoming parts related to products, and ensure inspection processes are performed as per established plans.
  • Responsible for continual improvement activities for the product through establishing corrective actions training and work instructions.
  • Develop and initiate quality standards for incoming, work in process, final tests, inspections and evaluations of complete products.
  • Develop strategies to evaluate precision and accuracy of analytical equipment, tests & measurements and production equipment related to products.
  • Work closely with manufacturing/assembly operations to identify and resolve production and quality system deficiencies.
  • Investigate product quality problems using 8D methodologies, determine containment action, gather and analyze data to determine root cause and implement corrective action, to reduce or eliminate cause.
  • Leading MRB regular meeting and ensure records of NCRs and corrective actions are maintained with all supporting documents.
  • Establish and develop work instructions and other documentation for evaluating, assessing, reporting and documenting on quality standards in products or services.
  • Builds relationships internally with department managers and technical team leaders.
  • Liaise with managers, inspectors and technicians to ensure the smooth introduction of new products and processes and for reporting and reducing quality issues.
  • Investigate product quality problems using 8D methodologies, determine containment action, gather and analyze data to determine root cause and implement corrective action, to reduce or eliminate cause of nonconformance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish Control Plans for products and components that ensures process control and the conformance of products. Ensure Control Plans are established and maintained for all in-house manufactured items.
  • Ensure all quality data and inspection records are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Conduct audits, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions with regards to Quality. Health, safety and environmental related issues.
  • Ensure quick resolution of supplier quality failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions, through working with Procurement and Department Managers.
  • Communicate directly with suppliers on all matters related to quality of products and ensure supplier assurance and if necessary perform quality audits.

Experience & Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality/Mechanical/Production Engineering or related equivalent qualification.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement.
  • Previous audit experience is preferred.
