The QA Tester for Mobile Applications is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of mobile applications across various platforms such as iOS and Android. This pivotal role involves working closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify issues in the application’s usability and performance. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for mobile applications.
• Identify, record, and document thoroughly and track defects to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand application requirements.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams.
• Perform regression testing after the software updates or fixes.
• Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Use various testing tools to enhance the testing process and efficiency.
• Analyze test results on database impacts, application bugs, and usability.
• Engage in continuous learning and application of test methodologies and practices.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for application improvements and upgrades.
• Maintain test environments and ensure they mirror production settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with testing tools and bug tracking software like JIRA and TestRail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
