QA Software Tester

Job Description

As a QA Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve software issues throughout the software development life cycle. Your work will focus on identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and you will be responsible for verifying and validating that all software products meet or exceed established quality standards before product releases. A solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle, excellent analytical skills, and a talent for problem-solving are essential. Responsibilities

• Perform regression testing to verify the fix of previously identified issues.
• Analyze testing findings and provide detailed feedback to the development teams.

• Contribute to the design and development of test automation frameworks.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify defects and suggest improvements.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Participate in software design reviews and provide a quality perspective.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve the highest product quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing processes.
• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of different testing methodologies and their applications.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and trouble-shooting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile software development environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage parallel tasks.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for test automation is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in test management software and other relevant QA tools.
