QA QC Engineer - Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical installations including cable laying, terminations, panels, transformers, switchgear, and lighting systems.
• Monitor and verify installation activities to ensure compliance with project quality plans and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for quality-related issues.
• Ensure that all materials used are approved and meet project specifications.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation of test reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards during inspection and testing activities.
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 7 years of experience in QA/QC for electrical systems in construction or power projects.
• Familiarity with international standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and local regulations.
• Experience in handling QA/QC documentation and audits.
