Job Description

The QA QC Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products within an organization. This professional is responsible for coordinating quality assurance and quality control processes, which includes developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system. The QA QC Coordinator works closely with production, engineering, and management teams to ensure all products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. A successful QA QC Coordinator must have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to implement and improve quality processes efficiently. They must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills to manage documentation, audits, and training programs. This role is pivotal in maintaining the credibility of the company and ensuring customer satisfaction by preventing defects and improving product reliability.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures and policies.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to establish product quality specifications.
  • Manage non-conformance issues and work on corrective action plans.
  • Oversee document control processes for quality management systems.
  • Provide training and support for quality assurance and control staff.
  • Monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and processes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective measures.
  • Interact with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes and findings to management.
  • Ensure all quality related documentation is accurately maintained and updated.
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance activities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proven ability to lead quality audits and manage quality documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
