QA Engineer

What you’ll be doing

• Play a pivotal role in revolutionizing spend management software for businesses across MENA.
• Collaborate with a passionate team to shape the future of financial technology in the MENA region.
• Drive best practices and elevate the QA standards within our engineering team.
• Lead the charge in ensuring that our platform is robust, secure, and bug-free through innovative testing strategies.
• Stay at the forefront of QA best practices, driving continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.
  
  

Manual Testing

• Expertise in test case design, test planning, and bug lifecycle management.
• Strong API testing skills (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Familiarity with test strategies for microservices and event-driven systems.
• Mobile app testing across iOS and Android platforms (devices/emulators).
  
  

Automation Testing

• Proficient with TypeScript/Python testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest).
• Experience using Robot Framework for regression and integration testing.
• Skilled with Selenium and Appium for cross-platform web and mobile automation.
• Experience with GIT and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or equivalent.
• Capable of writing maintainable and scalable test automation for UI, API, and backend services
  
  

Database

• Ability to write high-level SQL queries for data validation (preferably with PostgreSQL).
  
  

Performance & Security Testing

• Experience in performance testing (e.g., with JMeter, k6).
• Knowledge of stress testing, load testing, and scalability validation.
• Ability to work with developers and DevOps teams to identify and address bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
  
  

Who we are looking for

• 3+ years in a QA role (manual + automation).
• 1+ year experience in a SaaS or Fintech company.
• Hands-on experience with microservices-based systems
• Prior experience as a developer (Python / TypeScript) is a strong plus.
• Ability to read and debug code, and contribute to automation frameworks.
