Python And Kafka Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python and Kafka Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality through complex SQL and mappings, and resolving production issues across cloud-based platforms.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python And Kafka Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Kafka to support real-time and batch data processing.
• Design and implement data integration, cleansing, and validation rules to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across Oracle and MS SQL databases for analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Leverage cloud technologies to support data warehousing, monitoring, and scalable data solutions.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of overall experience, including 3–5 years in data management and software development.
• Must have strong, hands-on experience with Python and Kafka for building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proven experience with data warehousing, complex SQL, cloud technologies, and working in Agile/Scrum environments with production support exposure.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $41.00 per hour
