Purchasing Manager

Bamboo Card is a Dubai-based B2B distributor of digital prepaid products and a rewards fulfilment partner to enterprises worldwide. Since 2018 we have built a catalogue of more than 3,500 products across over 80 countries, delivered through our client portal and API. More than 1,000 enterprise clients rely on us to power rewards programmes, employee incentives, customer acquisition campaigns and marketplace inventory. We sit in one of the fastest-growing corners of the payments ecosystem with the banking infrastructure and supplier relationships that make global digital rewards work at scale.

Our gaming supplier catalogue is one of the biggest levers we have on margin and brand availability, and it needs someone who can own it, not just administer it. Were looking for a Purchasing Manager to sit at the table with gaming suppliers, negotiate terms that move the needle, and turn purchasing data into decisions that show up in the businesss bottom line.

• Identify and close deals with new gaming suppliers that bring relevant brands to our catalogue, you lead the negotiation from first conversation to signed terms.
• Keep renegotiating with existing gaming suppliers as volumes grow; better terms today should be the floor, not the ceiling, for next quarter.
• Set the bar for how order cadence, invoice tracking, and delivery follow-up run across the team, and step in when somethings off track.
• Act as the escalation point on margin shifts, stuck negotiations, or supplier issues that need more seniority to resolve.
• Take direct ownership of price sheet accuracy and margin performance, escalating shifts to the VP of Operations and Finance before they become a surprise in the numbers.
• Turn monthly sales and supplier data into reporting that drives sourcing and renegotiation calls, new brands added, top performers, and where stock is at risk.
• Bring newer purchasing team members up to speed on process, negotiation instincts, and supplier judgment as the team scales.

• You have 6+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management, with real time spent across the negotiating table, not just executing orders someone else structured.
• You bring 3+ years of gaming industry experience, ideally paired with a background in digital gifting, e-commerce, or digital distribution; you understand how fast this category moves.
• You negotiate with confidence and walk away with terms that hold up, not just terms that get signed.
• You read margin and sales data fluently enough to know which conversation to have next, and with whom.
