We are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to join our team. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for our organization. Key responsibilities include identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating terms and prices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The Purchase Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs without compromising on quality. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in procurement, strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure. A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is required, with 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support company goals.
  • Identify and source reliable suppliers to ensure quality products and services at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and payment terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and quality to make decisions on continued partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  • Manage a purchasing team, providing guidance and support to achieve team objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed buying decisions.
  • Research new products and technologies to improve the overall purchasing process.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant purchasing software and systems.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a good understanding of supplier sourcing and management.
