Job Description

The Public Relations & Office Manager role is a unique blend of responsibilities catering to both the public relations sphere and the administrative operations of the office. This dual-function position is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow internally while projecting a positive company image externally. The ideal candidate must be adept at managing the everyday dynamics of office operations as well as crafting and executing strategic PR initiatives that enhance the company’s brand visibility. As a key player in communication and management, you will be interfacing with various stakeholders, anticipating office needs, and acting as a bridge between the office staff and the outside world. Your role is crucial in supporting both the inner workings of the office and the outward relations with clients, media, and the general public.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance brand presence.
  • Coordinate and oversee office operations, ensuring a smooth working environment.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders such as clients and media.
  • Draft press releases, speeches, and other PR-related documents for the company.
  • Organize and manage company events, meetings, and press conferences efficiently.
  • Oversee the office supply inventory and order supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure all office equipment is properly maintained and in working order.
  • Coordinate with HR on office policies and employee communications.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and office workflows.
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Support senior management in scheduling, correspondence, and communications tasks.
  • Manage the office budget and assist in financial planning for office resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in both office management and public relations roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle diverse responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in office software and PR tools such as MS Office and media databases.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all professional contexts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and capability to manage small teams effectively.
