About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai within the Marketing and Communications, the Graphic Designer will carry out and partially supervise operational tasks and duties in the kitchen under the guidance of the respective Director of Marketing and Communications, with the overall objective to prepare food in a timely manner as per quality and food safety standard.

As a Public Relations & Communications Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Support the execution of the hotel’s annual PR and communications plan, ensuring alignment with the brand and business objectives.
  • Assist in preparing press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, and other PR materials with accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate media requests, photoshoots, interviews, and filming activities in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Maintain and regularly update the hotel’s press materials, image library, and media database.
  • Monitor, collect, and report media coverage and social media mentions, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Support the organization of media visits, influencer stays, and press events, ensuring all arrangements are handled to the highest standard.
  • Assist in managing the hotel’s social media accounts ensuring a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
  • Coordinate monthly content calendars in alignment with campaign priorities and seasonal activations.
  • Oversee community management by monitoring engagement, responding to comments/messages, and identifying opportunities for brand interaction.
  • Support influencer collaborations, community initiatives, and CSR activities under the guidance of the PR Manager.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather stories, achievements, and content opportunities for media and digital channels.
  • Represent the PR & Communications team professionally at hotel events and activations when required.

As a Public Relations & Communications Executive, we expect from you to have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and brand tone.
  • Good understanding of media relations, social media platforms, and digital storytelling.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative, proactive, and eager to learn within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in PR, communications, or social media, preferably within hospitality or luxury brands.
  • Fluent in English; Russian is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional appearance in line with the Mandarin Oriental brand.
