Job Description

The Project Scheduler (09F25) is an essential role within our project management team, dedicated to ensuring that all project timelines are meticulously planned, tracked, and adjusted as required. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously, keeping track of progress, and identifying any potential bottlenecks that would impede on-time project delivery. The successful candidate will need to collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and various team members to ensure that each milestone is achieved according to the defined schedule. Proficiency in scheduling software and a strong understanding of project management principles are crucial for this role, as is excellent communication skills for updating all involved parties about project timelines and progress.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using appropriate scheduling software tools.
  • Monitor project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope and determine necessary resources.
  • Identify potential project delays and recommend corrective actions for schedule optimization.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth execution of project schedules.
  • Regularly update project schedules and communicate changes to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed progress reports to management and other relevant parties.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and forecast future scheduling needs.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to discuss scheduling constraints and solutions.
  • Ensure scheduling practices comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on project scheduling best practices.
  • Utilize feedback from project teams to enhance future scheduling strategies and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in project scheduling or project management roles.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
