HIRING: Project Manager– For Construction Company

Key Responsibilities

1.Project Management

   Take overall responsibility for the organization, implementation, and management of projects, ensuring that projects are completed in accordance with contractual requirements.

2.Construction Management

   Manage on-site construction activities, coordinate civil, building, and other related works, and ensure that construction is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and the project schedule.

3.Project Planning & Scheduling

   Develop and implement project execution schedules, monitor project progress, identify delays or potential issues, and take appropriate corrective actions.

4.Cost Control

   Work closely with the Commercial / Quantity Surveying (QS) Team to control project costs, including materials, manpower, subcontractors, and other project-related expenses.

5.Subcontractor Management

   Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring that their works are completed in accordance with contractual requirements, project schedules, quality standards, and site requirements.

6.Quality Management

   Ensure that construction works comply with project quality requirements, approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards. Address and resolve site quality issues in a timely manner.

7.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

   Work closely with the HSE Team to implement health, safety, and environmental requirements and ensure that site activities comply with applicable safety regulations.

8.Consultant & Client Coordination

   Coordinate with Consultants, Clients, Subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical, construction, and project-related issues.

9.Authority Coordination

   Coordinate, where required, with relevant Dubai authorities, including Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and DDA Dubai Development Authorities, DCM Dubai Community Management /Dubai Holding and other relevant authorities for approvals, inspections, and project requirements.

10.Technical Coordination

    Coordinate with the Design Team, Site Engineers, and other technical personnel to resolve drawing, technical, design, and construction-related issues.

11.Project Progress Reporting

    Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management covering project progress, cost, quality, construction issues, risks, and overall project status.

12.Contract Management

    Assist in managing contract execution and monitor Variations, Extension of Time (EOT), Claims, and other contractual matters.

13.Team Management

    Organize and coordinate the project team and effectively allocate and manage the work of engineers, site personnel, and other project staff.

14.Risk Management

    Identify project risks related to schedule, cost, quality, construction, and contractual matters, and develop appropriate mitigation and corrective measures.

 Qualifications & Requirements

1.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

2.Minimum 8–10 years+ of experience in building construction.

3.Proven hands-on experience in site construction and project management.

4.Experience with Dubai Municipality (DM) requirements and Dubai building project approval procedures is preferred.

5.Strong experience in coordinating with Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors.

6.Strong skills in project planning, cost control, team management, and construction coordination.

7.Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

8.Previous experience in building construction projects in Dubai is required/preferred.

9.Certificate requirement: Must have a G+ Unlimited classification certificate.

Candidates must have hands-on experience in building construction and site execution. Candidates with only planning, estimation, or QS experience will not be considered.
