Project Manager

A Project Manager in the furniture industry responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering furniture projects from design to installation. Ensures quality, cost control, client satisfaction, and timely completion of all furniture production and fit‑out activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from initial client briefing to final handover.

• Coordinate with design teams to review drawings, material specifications, and shop drawings.

• Plan project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.

• Supervise furniture production in the workshop (joinery, upholstery, finishing).

• Ensure quality control at every stage of manufacturing and installation.

• Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and manage expectations.

• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and material lists.

• Source materials, hardware, and accessories from approved suppliers.

• Coordinate site measurements, installation schedules, and site readiness.

• Resolve technical issues, design changes, and on‑site challenges.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

• Prepare project reports, documentation, and handover files.

  
  

  Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in furniture, joinery, or interior fit‑out project management.

  • Strong understanding of furniture production processes (carpentry, CNC, finishing, upholstery).

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, project scheduling tools, and MS Office.

  • Experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, and workshop teams.
