This role focuses mainly on the First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan’s Principle Settlement. The settlement is aimed at compensating those harmed by discriminatory underfunding of the First Nations Child and Family Services Program, as well as those impacted by the federal government’s narrow interpretation of Jordan’s Principle. Nine Classes are included in this Settlement. Each of the nine Classes is unique and will have its own Claims Process that requires approval by the Federal Court. The Claims Period for each Class will open in phases and we are currently supporting the first two Classes.
Castlemain’s role in implementing the Settlement is to provide navigational supports to Class Members in the Claims Process. Our guiding objectives are to ensure that every Class Member has the opportunity to access, understand and respond to the Settlement Agreement notice, as well as to receive the necessary assistance for completing and submitting their claims. We are dedicated to ensuring Class Members are well-informed about the wellness support and resources available to them.
As a Project Manager, you will support the delivery of the Settlement across workstreams by applying foundational project management knowledge through integrated project plans, timelines and risk mitigation across all project stages. You will remove barriers, identify, and manage interdependencies to ensure alignment and progress towards shared project goals.
This permanent full-time position, offered hybrid or remote, is open to candidates across Canada, with offices in Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.

Starting annual compensation of $60,000-$80,000 plus rewarding benefits package. The offered compensation will take into account the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity
