Job Title: Project Manager/Scrum Master

Job Location : Dubai

Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Identify risks and create risk management strategies.

Team Management:

  • Assemble project teams, including selecting and assigning team members.
  • Define roles and responsibilities within the project team.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Resolve conflicts within the team and escalate issues as necessary.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address their concerns.
  • Scope Management:
  • Monitor project scope and ensure that changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Prevent scope creep and manage scope changes effectively.

Time Management:

  • Create and manage the project schedule.
  • Track project progress against the schedule and adjust as needed.
  • Ensure that project tasks are completed on time.

Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage the project budget.
  • Monitor project expenses and control costs.
  • Identify and manage cost variances.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables.
  • Conduct quality reviews and inspections.
  • Implement quality control measures.

Risk Management:

  • Continuously assess project risks and develop risk response plans.
  • Mitigate and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Procurement Management:

  • Identify procurement needs and manage the procurement process.
  • Select and manage vendors and contracts.
  • Ensure that procurement activities align with project goals.

Integration Management:

  • Coordinate and integrate project components and deliverables. - Ensure that all project elements work together seamlessly.

Reporting And Documentation:

  • Generate regular project status reports for stakeholders. - Maintain project documentation, including project plans, issues logs, and change logs.

Closing And Evaluation:

  • Close out the project, ensuring that all deliverables are accepted and approved. - Conduct a post- project evaluation to assess project performance and identify lessons learned.

Compliance And Ethics:

  • Ensure that the project adheres to organizational policies, regulations, and ethical standards. -Promote ethical behaviour within the project team.

Scrum Mastery:

  • Act as Scrum Master, Facilitate all the Scrum activities and ceremonies. Ensure Jira configured tomeets the team ways of working.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. - Seek opportunities to enhance project management methodologies.

Experience Required:

Project Planning and Management:

  • Expertise in creating project plans, defining scope, setting objectives, and establishing timelines to ensure successful project delivery. Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello for project tracking.

Leadership And Team Management:

  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide teams, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and ensure effective collaboration across diverse teams.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Risk Management:

  • Proficiency in identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and proactively addressing issues to keep the project on track.

Budgeting And Cost Control:

  • Skills in creating budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within the allocated financial resources.

Communication And Reporting:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for updating stakeholders, presenting progress, and delivering status reports.

Agile And Scrum Methodologies:

  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks to manage iterative processes effectively and adapt to changes.

Time Management:

  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Problem-Solving And Decision-Making:

  • Analytical thinking and the ability to make informed decisions to address challenges and drive project success.

Technology And Tools Proficiency:

  • Knowledge of project management software, collaboration tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams, and possibly industry-specific software.

Quality Assurance:

  • Understanding of quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet standards and client expectations.

Negotiation And Conflict Resolution:

  • Skills in negotiating with stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and resolving conflicts constructively.

Soft Skills:

  • Adaptability, attention to detail, emotional intelligence, and the ability to perform under pressure in dynamic environments.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) add significant value.
