How You Will Contribute
Lead end-to-end project management activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and profit margins.
Serve as the primary client interface, attending regular project meetings and providing accurate weekly and monthly progress reports.
Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans aligned with project requirements and timelines.
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to maintain project targets.
Review and coordinate engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, piping layouts, general arrangement drawings, and piping isometrics.
Oversee project cost control, variation management, and subcontractor performance to optimize project profitability through efficient resource utilization, procurement strategies, and operational improvements.
Support procurement activities, contract administration, and vendor management throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage vendor documentation, delivery schedules, payment progress, and contractual obligations.
Review and ensure compliance of QA/QC documentation submitted by subcontractors and suppliers.
Coordinate and monitor MIR and WIR submissions, securing timely client approvals to facilitate invoicing and payments.
Support commissioning activities and evaluate contractor and vendor variation claims when required.
Provide multidisciplinary technical oversight across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, structural, and equipment-related disciplines.
Lead coordination meetings with engineering and site teams to ensure alignment on priorities, schedules, and project milestones.
Ensure complete and organized project documentation to support smooth project closeout, handover, and transition to operations.
Prepare and present project status updates, key performance indicators, and management reports to senior leadership and clients.
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
10–15 years of experience in project management, preferably within industrial, EPC, construction, or engineering projects.
Professional Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
Knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration, and subcontractor management.
Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including reporting and client-facing communications.
Flexibility to work full-time and adapt to project site and operational requirements as needed.
