Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of steel fabrication projects from conception to completion.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and related documents to determine project requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of required materials.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at project sites.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and junior engineers.
• Participate in post-project reviews to identify areas of improvement for future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel fabrication or related industry.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, materials, and standards.
• Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects successfully.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed.
• PMP certification or other relevant certifications would be an advantage.
