Project engineer - Mechanical

Job Summary

The Project Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and completion of mechanical works including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and associated systems in compliance with project specifications, schedules, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Execute mechanical works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

Coordinate with Project Manager to plan daily and weekly activities.

Monitor installation works for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.

Coordination & Interfaces

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other disciplines (Electrical, Civil, ELV).

Attend project meetings, site coordination meetings, and technical discussions.

Ensure proper interface coordination to avoid clashes and delays.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

8-10 years of experience in MEP/Construction projects (UAE experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.

Familiar with local authority requirements (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
