Key ResponsibilitiesInspect and monitor all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and gas systems.Ensure mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and UAE authority regulations.Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs.Conduct regular site inspections, witness testing and commissioning activities, and verify inspection requests (IRs).Identify non-conformities, issue observations/NCRs, and ensure timely corrective actions.Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve site-related issues.Monitor progress to ensure works align with approved schedules and quality requirements.Witness and verify pressure tests, balancing, flushing, and commissioning procedures.Participate in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections.Support authority inspections and approvals as required.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).8-15 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Inspector or similar role.Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Consultant Firms in the UAE (mandatory).Strong experience in high-rise and residential construction projects.In-depth knowledge of UAE mechanical codes, standards, and authority requirements.
