Project Engineer - Architecture

Key ResponsibilitiesInspect and monitor all architectural works including finishes, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, cladding, joinery, doors, windows, and façade elements.Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations.Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples.Conduct regular site inspections and issue inspection requests (IRs) and snag lists.Identify non-conformities, issue observations/NCRs, and ensure timely corrective actions.Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve architectural issues.Witness and verify material testing and workmanship quality.Monitor progress to ensure works align with approved schedules and quality standards.Participate in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections.Support authority inspections and audits as required.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Architecture (mandatory).8-15 years of relevant experience as an Architectural Inspector or similar role.Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Consultant Firms in the UAE (mandatory).Strong experience in high-rise and residential building projects.Thorough knowledge of UAE building codes, standards, and authority approval processes.
