Job Description

The Project Engineer 20O25 is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise, project management skills, and client management abilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating between various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to drive the success of the project. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee engineering projects from initial design to project delivery.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure engineering projects adhere to all applicable standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes and solutions.
  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project processes and techniques.
  • Ensure all project activities prioritize safety and quality assurance at every stage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project engineering or management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams successfully.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
