Your mission

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Project Director to lead the delivery of some of the most ambitious and innovative Spatial Experience projects in the region and beyond. This is not a traditional project management role - it is a senior leadership position for someone who can drive complex turnkey projects with confidence, precision, and commercial clarity.

You will take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile international projects across museums, visitor attractions, cultural destinations, and large-scale experiential installations. From tender strategy and planning through execution and close-out, you will shape delivery standards, elevate performance, and ensure exceptional outcomes for both clients and stakeholders.

Operational excellence is essential, but what sets this role apart is leadership. We are looking for a strategic decision-maker and delivery-driven leader who can build strong teams, manage complexity at scale, and consistently raise the bar in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a portfolio of complex international projects from tender stage through planning, execution, delivery, and close-out, ensuring full project organization and control.
  • Oversee the development of the master project schedule and ensure effective implementation across all phases.
  • Monitor project performance with a strong focus on quality, deadlines, and cost control.
  • Conduct project reviews and produce detailed reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from pre-construction through completion.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics, compliance, and internal governance requirements at all times.
  • Actively participate in the tender process, including design coordination, submission preparation, and tender review.
  • Provide leadership in risk assessment, contract negotiations, fee structures, and pricing decisions.
  • Tender, negotiate, and award supplier and subcontractor contracts.
  • Collaborate with Crew Management on resource planning for assigned projects using EasyJob software.
  • Coordinate with QHSE teams on-site to ensure delivery in line with HSE and QAQC standards and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships and actively expand the client network.
  • Identify and secure growth opportunities, initiating and supporting new project development.
  • Support Project Managers and project teams, proactively resolving escalated issues and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in project management and delivery of turnkey projects (scenic, fit-out, AVL) such as museums, visitor experience centers, EXPO pavilions, and other permanent or semi-permanent installations within the entertainment and cultural sector.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Audiovisual Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Solid technical understanding of Audio, Video, Lighting systems, and control technologies, with experience in large-scale installations (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and control large-scale project budgets.
  • Strong industry network within the UAE and KSA is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work according to project and industry requirements.
  • Strong understanding of technical, commercial, and contractual interfaces across complex project environments.
