Job Description

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in the seamless execution and management of projects by providing exemplary coordination and administrative support. Embedded within the project management team, the Project Coordinator ensures that project goals and timelines are met through diligent planning, execution, and monitoring of activities. This individual acts as a pivotal link between project managers, team members, and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration. They are responsible for organizing resources, managing schedules, and ensuring that all project aspects run smoothly and efficiently. With a solid grasp of project management methodologies and exceptional organizational skills, the Project Coordinator is instrumental in driving projects to successful completion, mitigating risks, and optimizing resource utilization.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities to ensure seamless execution and timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress and promptly report any issues to project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members and project stakeholders for clarity.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, and plans.
  • Organize and schedule project meetings, ensuring agendas and minutes are prepared timely.
  • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring expenditures are recorded and reported accurately.
  • Assist in identifying potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and identify any onboarding required for project needs.
  • Support team members by providing administrative assistance and resolving logistical issues.
  • Utilize project management tools and software to track deliverables and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or similar field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project coordination role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage various project elements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating meetings and collaborations.
  • Proficient in using project management software such as MS Project or Asana.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to foresee potential project challenges.
