Job Description

The Project Coordinator is a key member of the project management team, responsible for planning and executing various projects from inception to completion. This role is crucial in maintaining communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring that project goals are met within the specified timeline and budget. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, providing administrative support and ensuring the seamless execution of all project phases. This position demands a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and exhibit a high degree of professionalism, as they will be representing the project team's interests to both internal and external parties.


Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Develop detailed project plans and track progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for project updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including documenting and distributing minutes.
  • Participate in the risk management process to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout project stages.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Monitor resources allocation and utilization to maintain project efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support as required to assist the project management office.
  • Update and manage project management software tools and databases regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a project coordinator in similar roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
