Job Description

The Project Controller in a dynamic and fast-paced environment plays a pivotal role in monitoring, managing, and executing project plans to ensure that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask across various projects and deadlines. The Project Controller collaborates with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects remain within scope, on time, and within budget. They are responsible for the financial forecasts and the tracking of project expenditures, identifying discrepancies, and suggesting corrective actions. An adept communicator, the Project Controller is also expected to generate and present reports on project performance and financial health to relevant stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules to track progress.
  • Analyze project financial data and prepare detailed reports on financial performance.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure project costs remain within budgets.
  • Identify and monitor potential risks and assist in mitigation strategies.
  • Create and maintain documentation necessary for efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide insights and updates on financial status.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates and project documentation.
  • Prepare and present project performance and financial health reports to stakeholders.
  • Support project managers in resource allocation and project planning activities.
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs efficiently.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to improve project delivery and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management or project control roles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of project management and financial software tools.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
