Job Summary:

We are seeking a thorough, analytical individual to join our team as a Project Auditor, specialising in Fire Fighting Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in guaranteeing the quality, compliance, and operational integrity of fire protection projects across various sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently auditing all project phases, ensuring strict adherence to fire safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities – Project Auditing, Fire Fighting System Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of fire fighting system installations, maintenance activities, and commissioning processes to verify compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate the performance and quality of installed fire protection equipment including sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, alarms, suppression systems, and control panels.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, non-conformances, best practice recommendations, and corrective action requirements for project and management review.
  • Advise on continuous improvement opportunities in fire safety processes, training, and project execution to elevate quality and ensure optimal protection outcomes.

Required Skills – Auditing Processes, Reporting, And Fire Protection Standards

  • Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems, fire protection regulations (local and international codes), and industry best practices.
  • Experience or qualifications in quality management, auditing procedures, or compliance monitoring within building services, construction, or fire safety sectors.
  • Demonstrable analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in preparing clear, accurate audit reports, compliance checklists, and corrective action plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across project teams and management levels.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation abilities to manage multiple audit assignments and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience – Fire Fighting System Audits, Compliance & Technical Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Fire Protection, Quality Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of3 years’ experience in project auditing, inspection, or quality assurance – ideally within fire fighting systems, MEP, or building services environments.
