About The Role

McCosker Contracting are recruiting for a Project Administrator to join our Project team based onsite at the Carmichael Coal Mine working a 2 week on, 1 week off roster.

In this position you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation of the project, the project works, engaging with site leaders, the business and other key stakeholders to achieve the projects and business goals. This position performs a crucial role in coordinating all administrative aspects of the project.

The Project Administration Department is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Processing invoices
  • Daily activity sheets (including timesheets)
  • Establishing, controlling and maintaining effective filing systems and records
  • Efficiently preparing and managing a variety of correspondence
  • Assisting with booking accommodation and travel
  • Data entry
  • Stock and inventory control
  • General administration duties for the project team.
  • Other relevant duties as may be required from time to time; and

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in administration
  • Experience in the construction industry (desirable)
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent time management, workload prioritisation, organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driver Licence
  • Construction Card (blue or white)
