About The Role
As a Treasury Business Consultant, you will partner with financial institutions and enterprise clients to design, implement, and optimize treasury, cash management, receivables, and payments solutions. You will translate complex business and regulatory requirements into functional and technical system designs, acting as a trusted advisor across implementation, testing, and client adoption. Your work directly supports how the world pays, banks, and invests.
About The Team
You will join a team responsible for the implementation of enterprise treasury management systems, providing CFOs and Treasurers with real‑time cash visibility, liquidity management, operational controls, and automation. The team delivers GAAP‑compliant treasury processes using FIS Quantum, enabling a single view of cash, improved productivity, and collaboration across trading partners.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and contribute to treasury technology consulting engagements, supporting system implementation, configuration, and optimization for financial institutions and corporate clients
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly documented and delivered
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements related to treasury, cash management, payments, receivables, and liquidity workflows
- Define system scope, objectives, data models, and functional specifications to support product development, integrations, and testing
- Analyze industry trends, regulatory requirements, and treasury best practices, assessing impacts across interconnected systems and processes
- Design and optimize end‑to‑end treasury processes, improving efficiency, automation, controls, and scalability
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) using client data to validate solution integrity
- Advise clients on technology options, integrations, and solution design, influencing priorities and implementation approaches
- Support client training, knowledge transfer, and go‑live readiness, including one‑to‑one and group sessions
- Provide pre‑sales and solution support when required, contributing to proposals and solution design
- Lead technical workstreams or small project teams; mentor and guide less‑experienced consultants
- Travel to client sites as required to support implementation and stakeholder engagement
What You Bring
Education & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Experience in treasury systems, cash management, payments, banking platforms, or financial services technology consulting
Core Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS), cash positioning, liquidity management, payments, and receivables
- Experience across end‑to‑end system development life cycles (SDLC) including waterfall, iterative, and agile delivery models
- Expertise in business analysis, functional design, and requirements management
- Proficiency with UML, use cases, process mapping, and business modeling
- Understanding of application architecture, system integrations, and data flows
- Hands‑on experience with system testing, UAT, and quality assurance
- Ability to analyze regulatory, operational, and technology impacts across enterprise platforms
- Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to influence, advise, and build trusted relationships
