Serve as subject matter expert for Products and Services Compliance topics.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Advisory and Risk Oversight

• Act as a trusted compliance advisor to Front Office (FO) employees and Management on Products & Services (P&S) risk matters, ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and internal governance framework.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on key compliance and regulatory risk topics, including but not limited to Investment Suitability, Cross-Border activities, and Conduct Risk.
• Support the review and assessment of risks associated with new products, services, and business initiatives, ensuring adequate controls and compliance considerations.
• Provide training in connection with Compliance and / or Risk Management topics
  
  

Monitoring, Controls & Risk Management

• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring frameworks to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal standards.
• Design, implement, and execute risk-based monitoring and control activities to assess FO compliance with key risk topics.
• Identify control weaknesses and compliance gaps and drive or support remediation efforts to strengthen the Bank's risk management framework.
• Manage key risk indicators (KRIs) and other relevant metrics to monitor FO compliance.
  
  

Governance, Regulatory & Audit Support

• Support regulatory and compliance-related initiatives, such as change and transformation projects impacting P&S matters.
• Assist to facilitate and coordinate responses to internal audits, external audits and regulatory reviews.
• Track and support the timely implementation of corrective action plans arising from audit findings, compliance reviews, and regulatory observations.
• Assist in the management of client complaints, internal investigations, ensuring appropriate escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Assist to prepare Management Info (MI) for the Risk Management Committee
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Culture

• Collaborate closely with Front Risk Units, Global Products & Solutions, Compliance teams, and other subject matter experts both locally and across booking centres.
• Foster effective partnerships across the first and second lines of defence to promote consistent risk management practices and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to the development and promotion of a strong compliance culture, reinforcing ethical conduct, accountability, and risk awareness throughout the organization.
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate effectively across levels of the organization.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Private Banking or related field, with a solid understanding of investment products, advisory processes, and investment suitability requirements. Experience within Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, or related control functions would be advantageous.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft thorough and well-structured compliance documentation.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and formulate risk-based solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with data analytics, reporting tools, advanced Excel functionalities (including macros/VBA), or other data analysis techniques would be an advantage.
