Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Sharjah, UAE, Dubai

About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Production Manager for a key food products supplier, dedicated to advancing the HORECA sector with innovative solutions.

Job Purpose

Spearheading all Production/Operations activities and being involved in end-to-end tactical planning in line with the strategic plan provided by higher management for implementing effective techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Working towards ensuring efficiency in operations, improving quality standards & achieving cost savings.
• Involved in troubleshooting and conducting preventive/ breakdown maintenance of various machines.
• Managing Manpower Planning to give proper guidance to the supervisory staff.
• Offering assistance in developing an improvement plan for cost-saving of utilities & consumables.
• Establishing coordination with the maintenance department for preventive maintenance of all machines.
• Monitoring NPD activities and developing concepts for Product Development.
• Liaising with various departments for launching the product within the given deadline. Continuous improvement of the processes and Products, all orders to completed as per the quality norms and are delivered on time.
• Launching smooth communication with all departments for efficient working of the plant and ensuring that the machinery is in good working condition.
• Managing all the production & maintenance employees.
  
  
  

• Candidates having experience working in the ice cream industry and having exposure to new technology and innovative ways of working.
• Candidates with good maturity, action-oriented, able to get things done, collaborative, and must have interpersonal skills.
• Achieve operational excellence in Productivity, performance, quality, cost, delivery, and safety with a strong focus on resource utilization, production, and capacity planning, while continuously improving processes and systems by implementing best practices
