The Transaction Banking Services (TBS) unit provides a full-featured product suite covering Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management and Payment Solutions which enables clients to optimize their working capital and also build efficiency and automation in their day-to-day business operations.
TBS provides an integrated single window approach for all transactional requirements of its corporate clientele across various segments and sectors such as commercial, government and financial institutions. It aims at assisting them with innovative financing and payment solutions as well as offers the convenience of interacting with the bank, away from traditional means.
The Transaction Banking team continuously interacts with CFO’s and Treasury Teams of its corporate clients and is committed to build strong relationships by meeting their underlying organizational objectives.
Position description:
The Senior Product Manager - Merchant Acquiring will be responsible for setting up processes internally and with schemes to launch acquiring business for instore and ecommerce channels
Job Purpose
To position Emirates NBD as the most sought-after Merchant Acquiring solution provider and enhance our acquiring capabilities based on client-led demands and VOC for Emirates NBD UAE and KSA.
Lead integration and certification discussions with existing schemes in UAE and KSA for enablement across POS and Ecom channels.
Responsible for the scheme Host certifications in UAE and KSA
Coordinate with schemes for POS terminal certifications vendors in KSA and UAE.
Work with internal stakeholders to fulfil the contractual obligations for schemes.
Manage the processing platform requirements
Engage with schemes to setup internal processes with onboarding, risk and compliance teams.
Engage with multiple payment gateways to do the necessary scheme certifications.
Work with the payment gateways to create a smooth onboarding journey for merchants.
Work with the processor and schemes to set up the workflow for incoming and outgoing files
Work with Internal IT to create transaction flow for ONUS transactions
Work with the processor to manage TMS related issues and track the terminal performance regularly.
Ensure all the necessary plugins , integrations required for payment gateway platform are covered in the product suite.
Work with schemes on existing Token migration
Work with the technology partner for creating post onboarding journeys for payment gateway onboarding
Explore AI capabilities and identify ways to enhance development and testing automation.
Explore agentic AI and autonomous decision-making tools in product management to accelerate development cycles and improve product quality
Conduct competitor benchmarking and understand industry trends.
Keep abreast of new technology disrupting the payments

Design the process flow for all the gateways along with processor/technology partner.
Design process for payment gateway integration and onboarding

Education
Bachelor’s degree in technical or IT engineering
Master’s degree in Marketing or Finance
Experiences
6 + years of experience in a product / partnerships/project management role
Experience in digital products, user journey creation and contract negotiations
Past knowledge of working with schemes ( Master/Visa) is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
Good Interpersonal & communication skills with good spoken English
Knowledge of digital onboarding channels , front end applications
