Product Manager - Investments

The Product Manager – Investments is responsible for developing and managing investment products that meet the evolving needs of clients and align with regulatory and market trends. This role involves overseeing the product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, and ongoing management. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of investment instruments, and experience in product development within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and management of investment products, including mutual funds, structured products, and portfolio solutions.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, compliance, marketing, and distribution teams.

• Ensure all investment products comply with regulatory and risk management requirements.

• Define product positioning, pricing strategies, and distribution plans.

• Monitor product performance and provide enhancements based on client feedback and market conditions.

• Develop sales tools and training materials to support frontline teams.

• Support client meetings and presentations to explain product offerings.

• Work closely with portfolio managers and analysts to refine product strategy.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and product governance standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA or MBA preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in investment product management or wealth management.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple product lines.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools.

• Knowledge of portfolio construction and asset allocation.

• Experience working with fund administrators and financial institutions.
