Product Engineer Calypso Scripting

Role Overview

We are looking for a Calypso Product Engineer with strong expertise in scripting, integrations, and capital markets systems. The role involves enhancing and supporting the Calypso platform, working closely with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Calypso Development

• Develop and maintain Calypso scripts and custom solutions
• Work with Calypso APIs, workflows, scheduled tasks, and reporting
• Support system enhancements and platform customization
  
  

• Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle (capture, validation, settlement, reporting)
• Work with FX/MM, Bonds, Repos, IRS, Cross Currency Swaps, CDS
  
  

• Support Front Office modules (Workstation, Pricing Sheets)
• Build integrations using REST APIs, FIX, and Kafka
• Work with Core Java and Oracle DB
  
  

• Troubleshoot issues across trading workflows and integrations
• Ensure system performance, stability, and scalability
  
  

• Strong experience in Calypso Scripting, Architecture & APIs
• Good understanding of trade lifecycle and treasury products
• Proficiency in Java, Oracle DB, REST APIs
• Experience with real-time integrations (FIX/Kafka)
  
  

• Exposure to Calypso ERS Risk Module, SA-CCR, FRTB
  
  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
