Property is one of the largest, slowest, most opaque markets in the world. A typical UAE transaction involves a buyer, a seller, two agents, a brokerage, a developer, a bank, a regulator, and weeks of friction across them. Most of that friction exists because the underlying product is bad - fragmented data, manual handoffs, and incentives misaligned with the people the product is supposed to serve. Were rebuilding that infrastructure. 🔧

Engage is the operating system for how property gets bought, sold, and rented in the UAE. 🇦🇪 Were owned by Cencorp Group and embedded inside some of the countrys largest brokerages - betterhomes, CRC, Lindas - which means our product touches a meaningful share of every property transaction in Dubai.

This isnt a typical design internship where you polish decks and sit in on meetings. Youll be embedded with the product and design teams, contributing to the discovery, research, and creation of design solutions for a platform that brokers and agents rely on every day. Youll work under the guidance of senior team members on real problems - user flows, interaction design, prototypes - that ship into a live product.

When youre rebuilding infrastructure that touches every property transaction in Dubai, the quality of your design decisions is the difference between a workflow that works and one that creates friction. Thats what this role contributes to.

Youll be working on live projects from day one, developing your skills in user research, interaction design, and prototyping in a fast-moving team.

• Develop a deep understanding of user needs, motivations, and pain points through research and empathy tools like personas and journey maps.
• Assist in identifying user problems and generating design solutions using design thinking methodologies.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that balance form and function, ensuring usability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
• Use prototyping tools to quickly visualize and test design concepts, then iterate based on user feedback and data.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure designs are aligned and feasible.
• Support the design team in conducting user research, analyzing findings, and applying insights to improve product designs.

• A strong grasp of fundamental design principles - visual hierarchy, color theory, typography. You understand why design decisions work, not just how to execute them.
• Familiarity with Figma - youve used them on real or academic projects and dont need a tutorial to get started.
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate your thinking clearly to engineers and PMs.
• Strong communication skills - you can articulate why you made a design decision, not just what you made.
• Empathy for users - you understand user-centered design and advocate for the user in discussions, even when business pressures push the other way.
• An AI-first mindset - youre comfortable using AI tools in your own workflow to move faster and think more clearly.
• Curiosity and a proactive mindset - you ask questions, learn fast, and dont wait to be told what to do next.
• A portfolio of digital design work. Apps, websites, posters, brand work, game UI, a redesign of something that annoyed you, a university brief. Any digital design counts. We care how you think, not where it shipped.
• Interest or coursework in product design, UX, or a related field. No specific degree required.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices is a plus.
