Job Description

Product & Pricing Manager is responsible for all product and pricing management activities and supports the growth of the Automotive Aftermarket BU.

Main Tasks

Product Management

  • Responsible for continuously expanding our multibrand product portfolio for all segments (passenger cars, commercial vehicles, off-highway applications) to achieve a defined market and competitive market coverage.
  • Increase range to achieve targeted market coverage, via expansion of globally available range to local range, as well as new part developments
  • Maintenance of vehicle information, such as equipment information and OE references, and their technical evaluation at component level, including 1st step checking for identical product solutions available within portfolio or defining range gaps.
  • Creation of market requirements in internal catalogue system and specify the local requirement in terms of demand, cost and specification.
  • Initiation of internal process for new part development (work flows), define the requirements and resources to meet target SOP.
  • Lead/coordinate cross-functional product development process/teams to achieve faster Time2Market.
  • Support local team (sales, pricing, marketing, CS, ..) and customers in product-related queries, new product information, and catalog data requirements.
  • Conduct internal and external product trainings (Train the Trainer)

Pricing Management

  • Analyze and review current internal cost and pricing structure (intercompany price list, price waterfall, customer buying price, competitor selling price) and other marketing intelligence data to improve prices and develop a multi-branding price orientation for all responsible territories/regions.
  • Align and implement pricing strategy in responsible markets.
  • Monitor sales and profitability, discount impacts on sales, lost sales due to uncompetitiveness.
  • Escalate potential cost-related requests to the Product Management Team for cost-down reviews.
  • Work with and support sales on discounts and/or net selling price for sales campaigns and promotions.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed academic degree or education with a technical or economic-scientific focus.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in product management and/or pricing management
  • Possess detailed knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Fluency in business English (written and spoken)
  • Communication skills and ability to work in team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Time management, prioritization skills
  • Co-ordination of quality topics within the group
  • Annual budget planning for NPIs and project wise budget planning + request
  • Experience in coordination of project management activities with Capex requirement
