Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within logistics and international trade.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement and sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Identify and build relationships with profitable suppliers.
- Approve and finalize purchases, contracts, and deliveries.
- Coordinate outbound logistics and manage shipment schedules.
- Prepare export documentation (invoices, packing lists, delivery advice, etc.)
- Track key procurement metrics to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
- Conduct contract reviews and ensure compliance.
- Lead sourcing initiatives to drive cost-efficiency and improve supplier performance.
- Use data analytics for decision-making and reporting to management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
- Monitor and manage supply chain risks.

Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist/Supply Chain Specialist or similar role.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a logistics company and in import/export operations.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and export documentation.
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
- Proficient in supplier management software and data analysis.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
- Familiar with international procurement markets and practices.
