Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to enhance operational performance.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with key suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure optimal value.
  • Prepare and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues regarding delivery or quality.
  • Ensure timely and efficient procurement processes to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the inventory management team.
  • Analyze and report on procurement data to inform decision-making processes.
  • Implement and maintain a robust procurement database and tracking system.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior procurement staff as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful deals.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for supplier engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement data effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
