Job Description

As a Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the comprehensive procurement processes for our organization. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality products and services at competitive prices. This role requires you to maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies. You will work closely with different departments, understanding their needs, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Additionally, you will be tasked with minimizing costs and optimizing supply strategies to enhance the company's operational performance. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage and evaluate all supplier relationships to ensure value for money.
  • Negotiate supply agreements and contracts to obtain the best value and service.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to meet the project schedules.
  • Monitor market trends to identify changes that could influence the procurement process.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses for upper management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and prepare procurement plans.
  • Identify potential suppliers to diversify the source of products and services.
  • Review and manage the performance of contracts and agreements regularly.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations before selecting suppliers.
  • Resolve issues and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ professional experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret trends and market data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and supply chain management systems.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
