Your mission

As a highly skilled and meticulously organized Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services for our international projects and organisation.

  • Procurement and rental of audio-visual equipment for events like projectors, sound systems, light systems, media network equipment.
  • Acting as a primary contact for all Procurement-related topics towards the projects and closely liaising with the project teams regarding project planning, budgets, strategies, any issues that might arise and opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing, advancing, and implementing procurement strategies for assigned projects in close collaboration with the respective project teams (e.g., cost-competitive sourcing, back-to-back agreements, project-specific pricing, etc.)
  • Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, price, availability and delivery time.
  • Qualifying and developing suppliers as well as monitoring their performance.
  • Placing and tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Negotiating procurement terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships and proactively collaborating with project teams and other stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Proactively identifying and realizing cost reduction and optimization opportunities.
  • Managing risks related to procurement challenges.
  • Identifying and leveraging industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuously enhance efficiency.
  • Executing material inspections, quality assessments and coordinating with Logistics regarding packing, shipment and transportation lead times.

Your profile

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain in a mid-sized international service company, ideally in the field of audio-visual technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or engineering is preferred; alternatively, relevant certifications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement-related methods, processes, and tools, along with knowledge of contract law.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and tools as well as excellent skills in MS Office products.
  • Confident demeanor with strong negotiation skills, proactivity, responsibility, and a quality-driven mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills.
