Job Summary

Responsible for establishing constructive relationships with different vendors and suppliers to procure the products and services required for the Downhole operations team. Also responsible for receiving quotes from the suppliers, evaluating them, and issuing POs and follow up with the vendors until the product or service is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure locally available material and services required for Downhole Operations are purchased and delivered in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update a list of approved vendors supplying all required products / services. Add vendors as necessary.
• Ensure vendors are registered properly as per all relevant NOV policies.
• Maintaining and negotiating on the rental and AMC contracts
• Continuously negotiate prices with vendors to reduce costs
• Ensure timely closure of POs according to NOV policies
• Ensure adherence to HSEQMS-012 and HSEQMS-013 in addition to any applicable NOV policy
• Any other job assign by Manager/Supervisor
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma in finance, accounting, business, supply chain, procurement or similar field; or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years experience in warehouse and logistics environment preferably in oil and gas.
• JAFZA experience is highly preferred.
• Good command of English language.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Having a network of contacts of vendors.
• Good computer skills Team worker Attention to details and deadlines.
• Knowledge of NOV DH products and services is an advantage.
• UAE Driver's license is an advantage.
